Xbox360 over PS3, so says Merill Lynch

It is based on costs right now, and Microsoft has setup a machine that will win due to its lack of expensive nature.

"The investment banker said Sony’s PS3 is an impressive machine, but the costly components inside could raise the price of a PS3 to around US$500 when it launches in the spring of 2006. By then, the Xbox 360 could be selling for US$249, Merrill Lynch estimated."

Amazing

I think Ive used amazing as a title to like 15 posts...but this is amazing.

With all of these next-generation web services kicking about, we felt it only fitting that we should really push the boat out with PGR3 Xbox Live functionality. You've already been told about Gotham TV, the television style broadcast service which turns Gotham racing into a real sport. You'll be able to watch your friend's race as if you were watching motor sport on TV - yes, you can choose which of your friends you want to watch, whenever they're online! You can also tune in to watch world-famous "Gotham Heroes" (the world's best players) live as they race. Gotham TV also takes the most exciting events in the PGR3 universe, and creates "Highlights", so you can stay up to date without ever putting down the controller.

New Blog

So, I have a new blog right now.

http://www.msmvps.com/glach

As of right now, it is in its "Beta" stage.  heh.  I will be posting most of it here, but when I get .Text working like I want (maybe the theme...maybe a custom theme..hmmm.) then I'll probably do most of the posting over there.

But head over and tell me what ya think.

Great Session

Hey guys, thanks for the great session last night.

It was fun playig with the "new guys" (atleast to the group).  Thanks again for all the fun games.

My best game

We played a game called "Tower".  You have 2 teams, and they fight for the "Tower" in Ascension.  The Tower has a turret.  You job is to control the turret and get to 100 kills.  Only shotguns, no shields or grenades.  It makes for a fun game.

Bungie did a great Job

Now, for all the BS I give bungie (laziness, cheating, glitches, etc) I must say, their levels look AMAZING.

I also give them credit for converting a MAC-destined game from 2000 to what it was 1.5 years later as Halo: Combat Evolved.  What Halo-2000 looks like...was weak man, the voice acting UGGGHH, the Halo:CE and H2 is SO MUCH better.

I think this gives you a good idea if you want another voice actor for the Halo movie.  Personally I want it to stay the same man.

My LSCs new, ugly website

www.metroswimming.org

It is disgustingly ugly.  That is all I have to say, that and it is cramped with TOO MUCH.

Initial Response to my new Mouse

It is freakin amazing.

It is a remote...you can raise/lower volume, next track/previous track, next webpage/previous (foward/black).  It has a scroll wheel (+ click) and a TILT WHEEL.

Best part...you can program it to launch the MCE media program.  IT IS AMAZING.  I shodl also mention it is pretty nicly shaped to my hand.

And I just noticed I need to get a good digital camera b/c this HP one STINKS.

<edit> Im an idiot meant to put the really pathetic-quality pictures that my HP stinker takes</edit>
